Trover Clinic

The Clinic opened its doors on July 1, 1953, and by 1958 included 16 physicians providing specialty practices in five of the six basic clinical divisions which are medicine, surgery, family practice, pediatrics and OB/GYN. Psychiatry, the only basic clinical service still not available by then, would take its place in the group practice within a few years.

Satellite clinics emerged to fill the need to provide services outside of Trover Clinic's original operation in Madisonville. The first satellite clinic was opened in Earlington in 1953. Today, 8 Trover Clinic locations provide medical care to thousands of Kentucky families, providing access to primary care as well as many specialties locally. Those clinics are located in Madisonville, Calhoun, Dawson Springs, Earlington, Hopkinsville, Princeton, Providence and Clay.

Over 100 primary care and specialist physicians provide virtually all modern medical specialties. Walk-in Care Centers in Madisonville and Hopkinsville offer extended hours in the evenings and on weekends.
