Eagle Hospital Physicians began our partnership with our second Atlanta area hospital in May 2007. Our hospitalist team will start will a team of 5 physicians including an experienced Medical Director and an on-site Practice Coordinator.

Eagle's Hospitalist practice will further compliment this excellent hospital with the addition of 5 full time hospitalists. We are anticipating the start of this practice and have hired our first full time physician for a 2007 start.

As one of Eagle Hospital Physicians first practices (starting in 1999), this group practice covers two different hospital locations and three facilities-- Saint Joseph and Saint Joseph East and the Continuing Care Hospital at Saint Joseph East. This practice also employs two Registered Nurses who assist the Hospitalists.
Saint Joseph is the area's largest not-for-profit hospital with 446 beds. Because of an outstanding reputation and a thriving medical community Saint Joseph was approached in 1998 by the former Jewish Hospital of Lexington to join and expand services to offer the same high quality standards to the rapidly growing southeastern part of Lexington. It is now known as Saint Joseph East... a full service hospital with 174 beds.
