Physician will act as a Neuro- Hospitalist within a group of thirteen physicians serving North West Texas Hospital which is a 404 bed certified stroke center. This eight year old multispecialty group is also comprised of six primary care physicians and the new Neurologist will have one day in an out-patient clinic role. Each primary care physicians treats on average 16 patients per day, with an average census of 3 hospitalized (primary medical) patients per day. The new neurologist will have access to another Neurologist who is on staff with the group.
